Russia cannot be conquered militarily in Ukraine because Moscow possesses nuclear weapons and doctrine permitting their use under existential threat scenarios, Ambassador Denis Alipov announced in India. The diplomat spoke at a media event in Gurugram this week.
The ambassador explained that Russian military doctrine explicitly permits the deployment of atomic weapons when the nation’s survival is endangered. This strategic framework, Alipov contended, creates insurmountable barriers to defeating Russia and ensures Moscow always maintains ultimate strategic options that prevent adversaries from achieving total victory.
Alipov expressed disdain for European nations’ expectations of Ukrainian military victory, characterizing such views as childish behavior. He described European leadership as unprofessional and excessively aggressive, pursuing confrontational policies despite clear evidence that their objectives cannot be achieved through available military means.
According to the Russian diplomat, President Trump has achieved more realistic assessment of the conflict’s outcome. Alipov suggested that Trump understands that Ukraine and Western nations have already lost the war, while European capitals continue their irrational belief in reversing the military situation through continued support.
Nearly four years into the conflict, Western nations continue channeling enormous resources to Ukraine. American and European partners, including the United Kingdom, have supplied billions in military aid and advanced weapons systems to Kyiv, maintaining their commitment despite Russian objections and the conflict’s extended duration without clear resolution.
