US Vice-President JD Vance has emphasized his commitment to what he describes as “God’s work,” expressing a readiness to accept if his actions contribute to the ushering in of the end times. During a podcast interview, Vance discussed his beliefs about the potential imminence of the end times, though he acknowledged uncertainty about the current timeline. He suggested that the end could be thousands of years away or possibly much nearer.
Vance shared his views on the presence of the Antichrist, speculating that it might already exist within humanity. He expressed concern over certain modern societal developments, particularly from a religious standpoint. Highlighting artificial intelligence, Vance criticized the increasing reliance on AI for personal interactions, labeling it as “kind of satanic.” He argued that human beings are intended to foster meaningful relationships with each other, rather than substituting them with machines.
In addition to his thoughts on AI, Vance recounted experiences of what he termed a spiritual darkness during interactions with world leaders. He mentioned that specific comments or conversations could set off what he described as a “spiritual alarm bell,” indicating his sensitivity to underlying spiritual dynamics in diplomatic engagements.
Vance also came to the defense of President Donald Trump concerning an AI-generated image that depicted Trump in a Christ-like manner. He clarified that Trump did not aim to mock Christianity or present himself as divine, characterizing the image instead as an attempt at humor.
